Who we are

Minho Solar is a trading name of Vividlogic Software International, Unipessoal Lda (NIPC 519248155), Rua da Quinta de Abade, N.º 122, 2.º F, Feitosa, 4990-344 Ponte de Lima, Portugal. These terms cover the use of minhosolar.com, the quote request service and the paid options. Our full company details are on the Legal notice page.

The quote request service

Asking for quotes is free and carries no obligation. You never pay Minho Solar for it, whether or not you sign with an installer.

With the permission you give at the end of the form, we send your request to as many installers as you chose, one, two or three, who meet our published criteria and work in your area, and we tell you by email who it went to. If no installer who meets the criteria works in your area, we tell you and send it to no one.

Installers pay us €150 + IVA when a customer we sent them signs a contract with them. The amount is the same for every installer and every system. The contract, the work and the warranty are between you and the installer: Minho Solar does not install, does not sell equipment and is not a party to that contract. Guides, tools and estimates

The guides and tools are information to help you decide. Their estimates come from the sources each page lists and from the answers you give. They are not a quote, an engineering assessment or financial advice. Check the figures that matter to you with the installer, in writing.

Accounts

You can create an account with Google or with a sign in link sent to your email. We do not use passwords. You are responsible for the activity under your account; tell us at hello@minhosolar.com straight away if you suspect someone else is using it.

Accounts may not be shared, resold or used for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or close an account that is used to abuse, probe or disrupt the service. You can delete your account at any time in its settings.

The Blueprint and the other paid options

• The Minho Solar Blueprint costs €45, paid once. It is a written report for your home, prepared from your answers with the help of an AI model and the published figures the site uses. What it includes is listed where you buy it.
• The full dashboard costs €29 a month, with unlimited bill analysis and 4 credits a month. You can cancel it at any time from Billing and credits, on Stripe’s billing page.
• Credits come in packs: 4 for €39, 10 for €89, 24 for €189. A Blueprint uses 4 credits, a consultation 2, a bill analysis 1 and a roof analysis 1.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Refunds and the right of withdrawal

If you are not satisfied with your Blueprint, write to hello@minhosolar.com within 14 days of delivery and we will refund it in full, no questions asked.

For the full dashboard subscription you have the 14 day right of withdrawal under Portuguese consumer law (Decreto‑Lei n.º 24/2014). If you ask us to start the service before that period ends and then withdraw, you are only charged in proportion to the days the service was actually provided.

Your personal data

We never share your details with installers or anyone else without your permission. How we collect, use and protect them is in the Privacy Policy.

Complaints

Write to us first at legal@minhosolar.com. You can also use the online complaints book (Livro de Reclamações) or one of the consumer dispute resolution entities listed on the Portal do Consumidor.
