Who is the data controller

Minho Solar is a trading name of Vividlogic Software International, Unipessoal Lda (NIF 519248155), registered at Rua da Quinta de Abade, N.º 122, 2.º F, Feitosa, 4990-344 Ponte de Lima, Portugal — see our Legal Notice for full company details. What data is collected

When you request the free solar guide or the Minho Solar Blueprint, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your location in Northern Portugal (optional)
  • Your approximate monthly electricity bill range (optional)
  • Any question you include in the message field (optional)

If you create an account, we additionally collect:

  • A securely hashed password (if you sign up with email and password — we never store your password in plain text)
  • Your name, email address, and profile picture from Google (if you sign up or log in with Google)
  • Session information needed to keep you signed in, stored in a strictly necessary browser cookie

Why it is collected

Your data is used to send you the requested solar guide, to follow up with you about your specific situation, to provide the Minho Solar Blueprint service if you choose to purchase it, and to let you create and sign in to an account to access your dashboard. We do not use your data for any unrelated marketing.

How it is stored

Lead information submitted before you have an account is transmitted via a GDPR-compliant email provider (Resend) and stored in our personal, password-protected email account. Account data (name, email, hashed password, session records) is stored in our database, hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure in the EU. Payment processing is handled by Stripe and we do not store your card details.

Cookies

If you create an account, we set one strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in. This cookie does not track you across other websites and is not used for advertising or analytics. Because it is strictly necessary for the account feature you have requested, it does not require separate consent under GDPR/ePrivacy rules, but we disclose it here for transparency. How long it is retained

We retain your lead information for up to 24 months after our last communication. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion at any time, we will remove your data from our active records within 30 days.

Third party sharing

We never share your personal data with installers or any third party without your explicit permission. If you choose to engage one of the vetted installers we recommend, we will only share your details after you ask us to.

We use a small number of processors to run the service, each bound by their own data protection terms:

  • Stripe — payment processing (we never see or store your card details)
  • Resend — transactional email and sign-in links
  • Google — sign-in with Google, if you choose that option
  • Cloudflare — hosting and database infrastructure (EU region)

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Request restriction or objection to processing
  • Data portability
  • Lodge a complaint with the Portuguese CNPD

Analytics

This site runs no analytics or tracking of any kind. The only cookie we set is the strictly necessary sign-in cookie described above.
